We’re midway through December so I definitely feel likes it’s safe to talk about sweaters. Even though there’s “sweat” in sweaters, I don’t believe sweating is something you should do when wearing this clothing item. Long gone are the days of the stuffy sweaters, and here to stay are the now trendy winter staples.
Below are the ones that I’m currently loving and are my go-to this season.
I’m loving this Daytrip Pieced Sweater because I can pair it with leggings, and it covers all the areas that need to be covered. This sweater’s a little lightweight but great for layering up. I’ve been mixing black and brown lately, which could be a fashion faux pas, but nowadays I feel like anything goes.
This FITZ + EDDI Knit Sweater is another staple in my closet. Again, it’s a little lightweight but fits great under jackets. I’ve paired it with black pants, but it’s also very sporty looking and would work great with yoga pants.
Again, a little bit of a lighter sweater, but this rose embroidery is everything on the Rose Me Up Sweater. I love this paired with jeans or a skirt if you’re looking for something more dressed up.
I’ve already posted about this dress from XOmandysue, but I have to share again. I am absolutely obsessed with this Cliffside Dress. First off, I love that it’s a flattering sweater dress. Some sweater dresses that I’ve come across in the past are thick and frumpy looking. This one is a body con dress, so it hugs your curves, plus includes the “cold shoulder” style and a slit that makes it feel all the more feminine. I have it belted here with a leather-fringe belt, but it looks great without it too. I wanted to add a little something extra, so I threw on my metallic boots from ShoeDazzle.
