I’ve always been a fan of tarte cosmetics because of its philosophy of creating natural formulas for a “healthy” makeup. I’ve very cautious about what I put in and on my body (plus I’m sensitive to smells), so when a friend suggested that I try this makeup line that uses Amazonian clay in its mascaras instead of bat poop (yes, I’m serious), I had to give it a try. It’s been almost 10 years later, and you can definitely say I’m hooked.
Long story short, I received a sample of tarte sunscreen, tarteguard, I had to figure out how to get more, because I know that sunscreen + the sun can be damaging and harmful to your skin. When I was looking at the tarteguard, I came across the kit “No Shower Happy Hour.” It contains travel size clean queen vegan deodorant, travel size hair goals dry shampoo, travel size tarteguard tinted moisturizer in medium, glossy lip paint in goals and deluxe Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in insightful. I was so excited because I’ve been searching for a healthy deodorant, plus I was even more pumped because I love a good tinted moisturizer that triples as a sunscreen. I had to give this a try, and what better time than our trip to Mexico when travel size products are a must.
These samples give you a chance to try out the products before making a commitment to the full size. They’re also perfect to throw in your gym bag, because lets face it, we’re all embracing the athletic look as our new “go-to.”
I love the deodorant because it give you a nice fresh, clean smell, but I found that it does somewhat wear off after some sweating. Nonetheless, I still love it and the name is on point.
The dry shampoo’s definitely true to the name in helping you achieve your desired look with “dry-washing” your hair.
The tarteguard tinted moisturizer is what I’ve been searching for in a tinted moisturizer and doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily.
I absolutely love the color of the tartiest glossy lip paint and Amazonian clay 12-hour blush. It’s just enough color to give you the effortless look.
