I’ve been able to take my healthy lifestyle one step further with EverlyWell. I feel like I’ve really been able to get an inside look at my health. The EverlyWell Food Sensitivity Test is just one of the tests that I took. Stay tuned for a second post featuring the Women’s Health Test. Watch the feature of EverlyWell on Today In Nashville here.
Choosing to live a healthy lifestyle has been a priority of mine for as long as I can remember. Growing up my parents raised us to be fairly healthy – we didn’t drink a lot of sugary drinks, eat much junk food and always had well-balanced meals. I am so thankful that I grew up on a farm where most of our food was raised, and growing some of my own vegetables is still a priority of mine today. I also remember being pretty active as a kid – dancing, playing different instruments, chores – and later on in middle and high school with sports, horses and other animals that I showed in 4H and FFA.
Taking the EverlyWell Food Sensitivity Test
The Food Sensitivity Test is easy to take. As a matter of fact, EverlyWell is there with you every step of the way. It tests for what types of foods create an immune reaction that causes certain symptoms. I love the packaging of the tests and the instructions are very easy to follow. The first step is to register the test will EverlyWell, and then follow the step-by-step instructions. For the Food Sensitivity Test, collecting a blood sample is what’s required and the kit includes everything you need to do just that.
Each kit comes with a pre-paid label and envelope to send it in and get your personalized results. Additionally, EverlyWell even sends an email letting you know that the lab received your kit, that it’s being processed and when you’re results will be ready.
When your test results are ready, another email is sent with a link to the report and actionable steps are provided.
The Results Are In
Here’s the breakdown of my results:
Additionally, I didn’t show high reactivity to any foods. Foods with moderate activity: egg whites.
Foods with mild activity: almond, cow’s milk, garlic and yogurt.
Steps are listed as to what you should do next. An elimination diet’s recommended for me – three different plans are laid out with step-by-step options.
